🔉 11MAR25 - Amadeus: Selling Platform Connect: Enhanced security with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
As cybersecurity threats continue to evolve, it is essential to boost security measures. We are in the process of enhancing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in Amadeus Selling Platform Connect, which will help prevent unauthorized users from accessing your customer data. This will also provide alignment with 4.0 version of PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) which becomes mandatory starting April 1st, 2025, for those organizations that take credit, debit or charge cards as payment. Â
MFA offers significant advantages Â
MFA strengthens cybersecurity defenses, reducing the risk of data breaches and associated costs, preserving customer trust, and helping businesses avoid fines.Â
With MFA, even if a cybercriminal steals or phishes a user's password, the requirement for an additional factor can prevent unauthorized access to secure your resources or applications. MFA adds an extra layer of security by mandating two or more distinct authentication forms for accessing a resource.Â
